Donations Of $500+ Add 25% Tax Credit

The Enterprise Zone contribution tax credit has been created by the State Government to encourage taxpayers to increase their giving to specific organizations that benefit our community.  Making  donations in Colorado Springs is beneficial to you, as well as, the recipient.  Springs Rescue Mission in Colorado Springs is part of this program.  If you are looking to make a real difference in the lives of the less fortunate, then look no farther. 

Springs Rescue Mission is making a real difference in the lives of poor and struggling families and individuals by providing critically needed food, clothing, other life essential items and services.  You too can make a difference with your financial donation.

Donors who give $500 or more through the Enterprise Zone receive a 25% Colorado state income tax credit in addition to their normal charitable tax deduction!

Here are the steps to follow: 

1.  Make your check out to "El Paso County Enterprise Zone" and note "Springs Rescue Mission" on the memo line.

2.  Mail your check to Springs Rescue Mission, Attn: Brooke Hromadka, 5W Las Vegas St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.  (cash and credit card donations are not eligible).

3.  In addition to your receipt for your donation, the state will mail you an Enterprise Zone tax credit certificate in about 6 weeks.
