Addiction Recovery Program In Colorado Springs Volunteer

Springs Rescue Mission would like to recognize Mr. and Mrs. Walton in the SRM spotlight this week.  The Walton’s moved here over a year ago and immediately looked for the best opportunity to utilize their time and talents as volunteers. Since serving in a rescue ministry in the last city they lived, the Waltons began their search for a like venue in Colorado Springs – they found Springs Rescue Mission.

With credentials in teaching they offered their service of volunteering as tutors to those pursuing an adult education. The career education Center of the Mission welcomed their talent and expertise and involved them immediately in helping men in the New Life Program – the Mission’s addiction recovery program in Colorado Springs.

“Once we began to work with the men in the New Life Program, they stole our hearts with their eagerness to learn. We are hooked on mentoring them. We will come along side of anyone of them and help them achieve their best” Mr. and Mrs. Walton – Career Education Center Volunteers.

Springs Rescue Mission and all of the Men you have helped, thank you for your service and your gifts.
