A Message from Rev. Joe Vazquez, CEO of Springs Rescue Mission

Jeremiah 17:7-8 says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.”  

We want those who come to us in need to put their trust and hope in the Lord. His Word is necessary for their life and growth.  

But before they can “yield fruit,” they need to be fed, clothed and sheltered. That’s why we’re dedicating each day between now and Easter to turning hunger into hope.  

With your help, we will continue to provide both the physical and spiritual nourishment that reaches deep into people’s hearts and souls so their “roots” can grow strong and deep.
